I’m Ru. I am a Military Wife and a Mum of 4 beautiful, stressful and happy kids. I have a PhD in occasional mum breakdowns and if you want something on paper I am a chef with a legal background.I did not say goodbye to my Federal job (because let’s face it, I need the money), however I have devoted myself to traveling every chance I get and sharing my travels.

Travel enriches my life and my family’s life in ways that my stable paycheck doesn’t and so I am convinced I can do both.However it’s my mission to teach others how they can take their dream vacations and pay for their kids activities (among other things). From simple lifestyle modifications to advice on landing a virtual job of choice, I want to show you how this life isn’t just for the insanely wealthy.

What else? I’m Zimbabwean-American and have lived in Zimbabwe,South Africa, Thailand, Japan and America. I have traveled to Australia, Prague, Iceland, Spain and the United Kingdom with more to come.
